The International Financial Center “Astana” (MFCA) successfully passed the first exchange of tenge into cryptocurrency. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that the mechanism of exchange of cryptocurrencies may receive full legal recognition if it is in demand.
In this regard, Tokayev also said that the world’s most famous cryptocurrency platform Binance will create a regional headquarters in Kazakhstan. The decision was made after the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) issued Binance a permit to work in Kazakhstan.
