London-based fintech startup Revolut has launched one-click payment service Revolut Pay, according to Bloomberg. Shopify, Prestashop, WH Smith and Funky Pigeon and other retailers have already joined.
Thibaut Genevrier, head of merchant acquiring, that Revolut Pay was a sign the firm has reached “critical mass”, and outgrown its original format.
A payment system based on Revolut software allows customers to receive cashback for purchases through mobile apps and browsers. Those customers who are not Revolut customers can use this function with payment cards from other providers.
